Stonecross Manor Hotel - a Kendal hotel in the English Lake District with conference facilities

Stonecross Manor was originally an orphanage for young girls who were to go into service, bequeathed to Kendal in 1857 by the Squiress of Levens, Mrs Mary Howard. The house has been extensively modernised and converted to the fine building you see today.

Stonecross Manor Hotel is AA 3 Star Graded.

Victoria School - Ulverston
UVHS French Project.

The Director of Stonecross Manor Hotel and some members of staff were recently asked to judge a school French project at Victoria School, Ulverston. The project was based on the information gathered by the pupils when they visited Stonecross Manor last year. It was a pleasure to see the pupils so full of enthusiasm. All of their power point presentations were of a very high standard and we were most impressed with the creativity that had gone into them. Well done everyone.

We have pleasure in displaying the winning project. Congratulations to the winning pair.
