Catherine's Restaurant Catherine's Restaurant is named after Catherine Parr, the sixth of Henry VIII's wives, and the only one who survived him. Catherine was born and spent the early part of her life in Kendal Castle. Catherine's Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and evening dinner and is the reason that many local people are frequent visitors to Stonecross Manor. Westmorland Gazette Bar The Westmorland Gazette is the local newspaper.
